EditGod
Terms of Service
Last updated August 19, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of EditGod at https://editgod.ai. By using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use EditGod.
EditGod is an early U.S. software product. We have not registered a separate company name, employer identification number, or business address for this service. Contact the founder at danielfirmida@gmail.com.
The service
EditGod is a post-production web app. You upload one raw product video and product context (a URL and/or text). We classify moments in that footage and return three 9:16 sales-attempt cuts. After the cuts exist, you may be offered an optional generated hook; that hook runs only if you accept. You may optionally claim work with an email address.
We do not log into TikTok for you, publish videos for you, or track whether a cut sold. The service may change as we build. Features can be limited, paused, or unavailable.
Your content
You own the footage and product materials you upload or provide. You grant us a limited license to store, transcode, transcribe, analyze, crop, and otherwise process that content solely to deliver the cuts (and, if you accept, a generated hook) and to operate, secure, and improve the service.
You represent that you have the rights to the video and product information you submit, and that submitting it does not violate the law or someone else's rights.
Acceptable use
Do not use EditGod to:
- upload content you do not have the right to use;
- submit illegal content;
- ask us to invent or publish false or unsupported commercial claims — including price, discount, guarantee, testimonial, a different product, or other regulated claims the supplied facts do not support;
- probe, disrupt, or abuse the service;
- violate applicable law.
Generated hooks must keep commercial claims tied to facts you supplied or that appear in the footage. You remain responsible for anything you post from a download.
No sales guarantee
The three variants are sales attempts — different arguments cut from your footage. We do not promise they will sell, go viral, or outperform anything. We do not show conversion scores. Use your own judgment before you post.
Paid plans
When the paywall is on:
- your first project can run end-to-end without payment;
- starting with the second project, work may pause before render until you subscribe through Stripe Checkout;
- plans are $29 per month or $290 per year, billed on a recurring basis;
- taxes may apply as charged by Stripe.
The amount you see at checkout is the amount Stripe will bill. We may change prices for later terms and will show the new amount at checkout or on the site.
Cancellation
You can cancel a subscription through the Stripe customer portal when that control is available in the product (for example, Manage billing). Cancellation is handled by Stripe and typically takes effect at the end of the current billing period, so you keep access until then unless Stripe or the portal shows otherwise.
We do not promise refunds as a legal guarantee. If something went wrong, email danielfirmida@gmail.com and we will consider a refund or credit.
Optional hook generation
A generated hook runs only if you accept a hook offer. If generation fails, your existing cuts remain available. We do not generate a hook to “improve the whole video,” only the short opening you asked for.
Unclaimed projects
We may delete unclaimed projects after a retention period (default 30 days). Do not treat an unclaimed project as permanent storage.
Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profits damages, or for the results of any video you post.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim, or $29 if you have not paid. Some places do not allow these limits; in those places, our liability is limited as far as the law allows.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after we post a change means you accept the updated Terms. The date at the top will change.
